About a 10 minute drive in and our first spotting was of a beautiful green and blue lake. Camping spots along the lake. Clean and well constructed with a fire pit and a great view. We enjoyed our lunch as we watched a canoeist. He/she hugged the shoreline across from us and disappeared into a cove.

Boya Lake lies within the traditional territory of the Kaska Dene First Nation who still hunt and trap in the area. There are 44 camp sites with ample parking. Water is crystal clear. Canoe and kayak rentals are available. Two trails lead from campground around shores of lake, where you will find a wide variety wildlife.

Tā Ch'ilā is situated on the Liard Plain, an area carved out by glaciers 20,000 years ago. The area is characterized by long ridges, or eskers, and elongated hills, or drumlins. Boya Lake is also one of the few lakes in the north that is warm enough for swimming. The park offers two short hiking trails, a mountain bike trail and limitless.

There are interpretative signs with information about the surrounding area. There's also a beautiful beaver dam at the end!
